Update: I'm still thrilled with this brush! Brushes remain firmly embedded in the comfortable and beautiful wood handle. It is almost a work of art! No regrets, just delighted. My brush was delivered bright and early this morning. It is very cold outside, so as you would expect, static abounds. No, the brush did NOT prevent static in my hair when I used it, though some reviews said that it would. I know better from experience given the weather. The boar bristles are well anchored in the brush, and the glide through my thin, fine hair beautifully. The best thing about this brush, though, is its handle. It is triangular in shape and fits a hand perfectly. Very comfortable to grip and pull through my hair. The matte finish on the handle is soft and comfortable. I like, too, that the manufacturer has earned certifications by two separate organizations: FCS-Forest Stewardship Council and EMAS-The EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme. This makes it a product that supports the management of our forests and environment. It matters to me! I will add to my review if I have any problems as I put it to use for the long haul.
